Blessed Matrona the Blind, Wonderworker of Moscow

Blind from birth, Matrona had great spiritual vision and was graced with gifts of healing, clairvoyance, prophecy and wonderworking. St. John of Kronstadt once called her his successor, and the "eighth pillar of Russia." She reposed in 1952.
