Lived c.453-c.523. One of the three patron saints of Ireland, along with St. Columba of Iona and St. Patrick. Known for her generosity and hospitality, she established many convents in Ireland, was an advisor to royalty and saints, and according to folklore may have been the first (and only) female Bishop of the Church.
